Karen Hopkins - Artist - Melbourne - Victoria - Australia

Nature and the landscape and the interconnectedness of all life are a constant inspiration to me I paint create sculptures and write poetry. I also have experience in mural painting, gallery management, exhibition curation teaching art to a range of abilities, mentoring emerging artists and more recently have begun a journey studying permaculture and facilitating workshops in Eco-Art Therapy, and  Active Hope book study groups.

I have been an exhibiting artist since 1991 and have artworks in numerous corporate and private collections both nationally and internationally. My paintings and quirky sculptures draw on themes inspired by nature, aspects of being human, emotions, and virtues within us. Using colour, texture, form, and rhythm I aim to take the viewer on a journey and explore the deeper levels that connect us all. I feel art has the ability to uplift connect and transform and I am pleased to be partnering with Tree Sisters through sales of art on my gallery page Small Landscapes- Art for Trees :-https://treesisters.org/fundraisers/karen-hopkins-art-for-trees collaboration
